This fantastic Nurse Practitioner (NP) position is located at a practice with 2 urologists practicing in St. Paul and Bloomington, MN.  You will work as a member of the Urology Department, take medical histories, examine and treat patients, make diagnosis, prescribe medication, document notes, and patient education.  This is a clinic based non-operative position, providing clinical coverage 5 days per week. Will perform consults, pre-op and post-op rounding on patients at United Hospital in St. Paul and Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
 
Saint Paul NP Position Details:

• First call one week every 4 weeks, with physician back up. Additional compensation provided when taking evening and weekend call.
• Electronic medical record system being implemented in 2009
• Lab, X-ray, MRI, CT and mammography are available on site. 
• Clinic hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m,  Full time position, 35 patient contact hours per week
  
  

Saint Paul Nurse Practitioner Position Qualifications:

1. Master's Degree from an accredited school of professional nursing,
2. current MN license, certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner,
3. DEA number and previous a minimum of 3 years clinical experience
